Applescript using if/else if и список

Question

Я работаю над скриптом для управления itunes для школьной игры. Проблема в том, что я не могу заставить ее выполнять инструкции if. Он устанавливает переменную selectedOption, но после того, как она запустит ifs, и если ifs просто пропустит их.
