Apache MPM Confusion - Требуется уточнение

вы найдете следующие строки:

# Source /etc/sysconfig/httpd for $HTTPD setting, etc. 
if [ -r /etc/sysconfig/httpd ]; then 
    . /etc/sysconfig/httpd 
fi 

Вот как ваш apachectl захватывает и переопределяет apachectl собственную переменную HTTPD.

Это также означает, что вы действительно используете рабочий mpm вместо prefork.
