Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException: android.widget.TextView

Вы пытаетесь бросить TextView к LinearLayout. Но ваш XML кажется правильным, поэтому проверьте, Очистка всего проекта помогает, иногда Eclipse/ADT беспорядок перестраивает и не восстанавливает ресурсы должным образом, заставляя идентификаторы указывать на то место.
