Я использую мышь с терминальным vim (не gvim) с set mouse=a.

Я хочу изменить форму курсора мыши, но mouseshape не включен в homebrew vim. Как установить mouseshape -enabled vim с помощью homebrew?

Это не представляется возможным. Функция mouseshape доступна только в сборках Windows или X11, как это подразумевается в документации, где обсуждается, какие формы доступны в этих режимах. Только Win32 и X11 появляются в этом списке.

Указатель мыши изменяет форму в терминале Vim, когда режим mouse активен, но вы не можете управлять им в режиме так, как вы просите.

w x  arrow   Normal mouse pointer 
w x  blank   no pointer at all (use with care!)
