Это сообщение, вероятно, именно то, что он говорит. Переменная является доступной только для чтения и не может быть отредактирована. Если переменная доступна для записи или не указана в MIB. Лучше сначала проверить MIB. Если переменная доступна только для чтения, это не имеет значения, что вы делаете.

Убийственные процессы с SNMP, насколько я знаю, не так уж и обычны. По крайней мере, вы обычно этого не делаете. SNMP предназначен для управления сетью. Но опять же, если у вас есть собственная MIB, вы должны проверить ее и посмотреть, что там написано.
