Я бы проверил журналы брандмауэра, чтобы узнать, заблокирован ли клиент.

Единственный раз, когда я получил эту ошибку, когда мой брандмауэр блокировал пост-обратно, поскольку он превысил parameter length limit.

Вы можете обнаружить, что если вы достали панель обновления и все функциональные возможности Ajax, вы получите сообщение «Страница не может быть найдено» из вашего брандмауэра, но функциональность Ajax «скрывает» ошибку от пользователя, поэтому отображается только в отладчике.

Решение для меня было поднять ограничение длины параметра для __EVENTVALIDATION perameter (до 1600 в моем случае). Теперь это может быть другой предел или периметр, который нужно будет изменить в вашем случае, но если вы обнаружите, что брандмауэр блокирует его, он должен сказать вам, почему.

«Если все остальное не работает, проверьте свой брандмауэр».

Я знаю, что это немного поздний пост, но, возможно, это спасет кого-то еще неделю отладки и исследований, которые мне пришлось пройти.
