Question

Я пытаюсь отправить электронное письмо с laravel 5.2. Но он бросает эту ошибку

Если вы хотите

указать 'encryption'=> env('MAIL_ENCRYPTION', 'ssl')
вы должны использовать 'port' => env('MAIL_PORT', 465)
и .env файл

MAIL_ENCRYPTION=ssl 
MAIL_PORT=465 

и если вы хотите

указать 'port' => env('MAIL_PORT', 587) затем
вы должны использовать 'encryption'=> env('MAIL_ENCRYPTION', 'tls')
и .env файл

MAIL_ENCRYPTION=tls 
MAIL_PORT=587 

Вы получаете сообщение об ошибке, потому что вы определяете, как шифрование ssl, пока вы пытаетесь подключиться через порт 587 который рассчитывает запустить STARTTLS команду для TLS шифрования.

Просто измените mail.php в папке конфигурации из:
