Я должен .htaccess файлы, один для CodeIgniter и один для Wordpress. Моя структура каталогов выглядит следующим образом:

RewriteRule ^resources.*$ /news/topic/$0 [NC] 

Необходимо сделать это. WP будет генерировать 404 страницы для URL-адресов, которые не существуют.
