1) с электронной почтой и ссылка HTML внутри него:

Спасибо за ответ Дори, но нужен другой url, поэтому у меня есть почтовая кнопка на странице, и когда пользователь нажимает кнопку, он открывает почтовый клиент (mailto), а внутри копии тела - это ссылка, которая пользователь может щелкнуть дальше, чтобы получить дополнительную информацию. Надеюсь, что это имеет смысл. – jsavage980

да, но тогда вам нужно проверить URL-адрес кодировки ссылки в сообщении, иначе он не знает, что делать. Я попытаюсь пересмотреть мой ответьте для вас. –

Это не возможно иметь html в теле сообщения электронной почты, если вы генерировать его с помощью mailto

Ну, вы можете просто написать URL, как часть Эл. адрес. Большинство современных почтовых клиентов автоматически распознают его.
